「貢献」
説明
「貢献する」は「なんか役に立つ」という意味だが、ビジネス場面に「利益したので、役に立つ部門」という意味になります。
Though 貢献 generally means something like a “contribution” or something otherwise beneficial, in a business context it is used to mean a sector of the business was profitable.
「動詞否定形な＋くもない」
説明
例えば、交渉の場面で、相手に「もう少し価格を下げてくださるんでしたら、考えなくもないんですが。」と言います。この時、「考え」は二倍否定したので、「考える可能性もある」という意味になります。

The kanji in the expression is 知, so you’re saying “you don’t know about ~X,” as it doesn’t make a lot of sense, given other facts.
「～にほかならない」
説明
「条件がなかったら、効果がならない」という意味を表します。

「不可避」
説明
「避けられない」

「Xいかんでは·Xいかんによっては」
説明
Xによって、可能性ある。同じ意味の表現に「次第では」もある。

「名詞＋極まりない」
説明
一緒に悪い表現と使われます。例えば、「失礼極まりない」とか「迷惑極まりない」とかよく使っています。意味は「限界がない～」とか「非常に～である」です。

説明
文字通りで「懸かっている念」だから、「何かについて不安」とか「心配する」意味です。「不安」と意味がほとんど同じだけど、「不安」は動詞じゃないから、「懸念する」を使ってください。

「～ものの」
説明
なんかと対照する場合、使われます。例えば、誕生日パーテーに来る約束したものの、忘れた。
